The Nobel Prize in Physics
Many of the features that highlight our quest to understand our fascinating world and the universe are reflected in the Nobel Prizes in Physics. The first prize in 1901 was awarded to Wilhelm Röntgen, for his discovery of X-rays. In more recent years, the Prize has been awarded for discoveries and achievements in communication technology, cosmic radiation, superfluidity, and the structure of matter, to cite just a few examples.  		  "in recognition of the extraordinary services he has rendered by the discovery of the remarkable rays subsequently named after him"

جايزه نوبل در فيزيك :
بسياري از ويژگي هايي كه روشنگر تحقيقات ما جهت فهم و درك زيبايي ها و پيچيدگي هاي جهان هستي مي شود در جوايز نوبل در دانش فيزيك انعكاس يافته است . اولين جايزه نوبل در دانش فيزيك به ويلهلم رونتگن كه اشعه X را كشف كرد، در سال 1901 اعطا شد . در سال هاي اخير، اين جايزه بيشتر براي اكتشافات و موفقيت ها در تكنولوژي خطوط ارتباطي، تشعشعات كيهاني ، سيالات فوق رسانا و ساختار ماده اعطا مي شود.
